So out of nowhere we decided to go to the cabin last weekend, and like always, it was GREAT! We left late Friday and had to come back Sunday by 4, for some church meetings, but even that short of a trip was tons of fun. I never want to leave, and i usually drag my butt when it comes to packing up. The weather was so good, and so cold, but I love it cause we got to have a fireplace and actually NEEDed it! Jared brought up his homework and wrote a paper most the day, I brought up the XBOX and played more Fable 2 - still not finished! We only saw one elk, and no it wasn't the cool new elk statue that's up there, it was a real one. On Saturday night, Jared took me on a date date (long story, but i'm sure you can guess) we went to Olive Garden and had some yummy food, and then we went to the Lowell Observatory. It was awesome, i love astronomy and i am so hypnotized by the beauty in Space. I wish i could have taken pictures of what we saw, but you can't, so just go there next time you're in Flagstaff, it's super cool! Sunday we just lounged around, made some good breakfast, and cleaned up. Gary and Janet showed up Sunday morning and Tom and his friend Lance came up just before we left to put up new shingles. I wish we could of stayed longer to help and see the finished product, but i think it's gonna look really nice!! I guess i'll get to see soon, we'll be up there for Thanksgiving and Elk season, and i can't wait!! Here's a few pictures that i took......

Fun times. We are so excited to see you guys up there for Thanksgiving.
We LOVE going up to Parks! I cant wait to go this winter. We went twice last year when it snowed and it was so fun, except Cody was NOT fond of the snow. It was my first time sledding!
nacho is the best name i can think of for a big stuffed elk..hey,,in our garage..
we have this big elk head..6 point they call it with a 42 inch spread. i think that is elk talk.

Becky Sue, I love the hair! And I was so excited to see your halloween costumes!!! You are too cute! It snowed while Tom and Lance were roofing so its going to be COLD when we all go up in a few weeks!! I can't even wait!!
